Here’s the recipe –
Ingredients:
1. Black Wheat Flour – 180g
2. Sugar – 180g
3. Baking Soda – 1 tsp
4. Baking Powder – ½ tsp
5. Egg – 1
6. Salt – ¼ tsp
7. Milk – 240ml
8. Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
9. Melted Butter – 60g
Method:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and allow it to warm up while you prep.
2. Grease a loaf tin lightly with oil and dust with a bit of flour to avoid sticking.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients thoroughly (flours, baking powder, spices, etc.).
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients using an electric mixer until smooth and well combined.
5. Gradually fold in the dry mixture into the wet mixture, ensuring a lump-free, smooth batter.
6. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf tin and gently tap it to level out.
7. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 65–70 minutes. Your kitchen will start to smell heavenly!
8. To check doneness, insert a toothpick or skewer into the center—if it comes out clean, it’s ready!
9. Let the cake cool completely in the tin on a wire rack.
10. Once cool, gently invert, slice, and serve with a smile!
